Sashimi anyone?

Almost sliced my thumb off trying to dull the edges on this one. Reshaped center fin for the widow. Its finally coming together after serious difficulties with the glass. Im hoping to get into some sick pits with it in nica next month.

Gianni's frijole #008

4'10"x21.25x2.625. Knifey/downrails. Floats me great, for Gianni its practically a longboard.

Happy Birthday Nat!!

This is my first fiberglass handplane...before I stripped off the argyle and went with stripes.

Recycled 6oz glass
Supersap bioresin
Strap cover out of Patagonia ripped up Wetsuits.

The super eco board

Bubble wrap under vacuum

Couldn't tell if it was working so I took it out. Ordered a sick vac setup today. I've got some cork, divincel, carbon and balsa o play with too. Im read rock on the compsands, with 3 boards in the cue to finish this month. Can't wait!

Colab with the grey ghost.

How could I not share the stoke on my favorite board? Joey Clams came by the shop after the fish fry to pick up some lord board blanks and we decided to shape one on the spot. He might be the only other guy in the water with one of these on log island. He also hooked me up with some numbers for my widowmaker fins. Thanks man!

3rd Ward Show

Here's a pic of my carbon/eva flextail finless simmons Gianni took at the 3rd ward show in May.  This was a collaboration with Spoe from Biarritz.  He dropped by the shop and we started shaping it together.  It basically doesn't work unless you squat over the last foot of the board, but a great lesson in the necessity of release in the tail. If I can plow through some other projects I'll grind off some of the tail so its more ridable.

Michelle's 6'0" Simbat #007

Had fun doing paint and resin swirls on this one- my first commission, and 7th glass board.
Pretty flat rockered riff off a Simmons hydroplaning hull.
