Basically a tweaked neckbeard. Gotta work on my pinlines, they look even worse in pictures.
Cork deck, carbon rails, resinx, FCS fusion boxes. Came out rediculously light and flexy.

Gotta be a ninja to ride this one. Closest to a traditional alaia of any of my foamies, but with 2" of foam to get you in earlier.
5'9" neckbeard inspired double to single. Doing carbon rails and a divinicel deck. I really loved how tge knifey down rails worked on gianni's frijole so thiis a riff on the same. Race is off to finish by the 11th.
Almost sliced my thumb off trying to dull the edges on this one. Reshaped center fin for the widow. Its finally coming together after serious difficulties with the glass. Im hoping to get into some sick pits with it in nica next month.
This is my first fiberglass handplane...before I stripped off the argyle and went with stripes.
Recycled 6oz glass
Supersap bioresin
Strap cover out of Patagonia ripped up Wetsuits.
The super eco board
Couldn't tell if it was working so I took it out. Ordered a sick vac setup today. I've got some cork, divincel, carbon and balsa o play with too. Im read rock on the compsands, with 3 boards in the cue to finish this month. Can't wait!
How could I not share the stoke on my favorite board? Joey Clams came by the shop after the fish fry to pick up some lord board blanks and we decided to shape one on the spot. He might be the only other guy in the water with one of these on log island. He also hooked me up with some numbers for my widowmaker fins. Thanks man!
The beauty of shaping wood is you can shape it, ride it, reshape it and see what's different. Can't wait to see how it goes with a narrow tail. After the fishfry Im convinced that widepoint forward is the way to go with finless boards.
Patagonia couldn't send me a new wetsuit-i guess pit rash wasn't under warranty-but they did send me a beer cozie made out of an R2 suit. Consolation prize I guess.
Maybe because its winter, I don't know why but this one is the caribou. The learning curve on doing perimiter stringers from scratch was tough. Its crazy how hard it is to see the curves when you have 2 colors of wood and foam. Finally I started to look at just the light and it clicked.
